I can load pages into the ADF, press the copy button, and it spits out copies no problem. Don't know about the FAX as I have never Canon PIXMA MX882 Printer that function. What led up to the problem: The first issue was erratic response to the print preview function. I use print preview by default; up until a month or so ago print preview was near instantaneous - I'd press "print" from a document, the print preview window opened up immediately with the document preview showing.
Then things started slowing down - it would take a couple of seconds for the print preview window to open and a couple more seconds for the document preview to appear in the window. Sometimes the document wouldn't show up at all in the print preview window.
Then I would have to turn the printer off and restart it in order to get the document to show up in the preview window so I could print my document. The print preview issue is as stated above.
However now when I press the "Print" button in the print preview window and the print job is sent to the printer, when the small printer window opens it displays a "Creating Print Data" message which I had never seen before for 30 seconds to a minute and then it displays a "Printer Not Responding" message and it cancels the print job. What steps have I taken Canon PIXMA MX882 Printer correct the problem: I went to the Canon website and downloaded the latest drivers, it still won't print.
